Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team. This role will support various human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and HR operations. The ideal candidate is a people-first professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and preparing offer letters.
Administer onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive employee experience.
Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and personnel files.
Support employee relations efforts by addressing employee queries, conducting investigations, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Manage benefits enrollment, changes, and administration in coordination with providers.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and best HR practices.
Assist in performance management processes including evaluations, goal tracking, and feedback mechanisms.
Organize HR-related training sessions, workshops, and team-building activities.
Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate processing of employee data.
Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve internal processes and enhance employee engagement.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2–4 years of experience in an HR generalist or similar HR role.
Knowledge of employment/labor laws and HR best practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, etc.).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
Experience in [industry, e.g., tech, manufacturing, healthcare] is preferred.
Familiarity with diversity and inclusion initiatives.
